Balton Trading Asia Becomes First 3PL Operator in Central Asia with Dual BREEAM Certification
Balton Trading Asia has become the first 3PL operator in Central Asia to receive BREEAM certification at both the Design and Post-Construction stages — a rare achievement that reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable development.
The most recent recognition was awarded in 2025 for the Pod’yomnik logistics facility in Tashkent, following its initial certification at the project stage in 2024.
This dual status places Balton Trading Asia among a select group of companies in Uzbekistan operating under internationally recognized green building standards.
This sends a clear message to our clients and partners: we move forward not only with efficiency, but with responsibility.
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is one of the world’s leading sustainability assessment methods for buildings. It is used in over 80 countries and evaluates factors such as energy efficiency, environmental impact, comfort, and operational safety.
In Uzbekistan, only three buildings hold BREEAM certification. Balton Trading Asia is the only 3PL operator with two such recognitions.
We continue to invest in infrastructure, international standards, and our people —
because modern logistics is not just about delivery, it’s about building systems that last.
