The history of Dr. Oetker began in 1891 in the German city of Bielefeld, when pharmacist Dr. August Oetker developed the perfect formula for baking powder, precisely measured for 500 grams of flour. The product quickly became popular, making baking significantly easier and more convenient.

 

Over the course of 130 years, this small production grew into one of the world’s leading brands.

 

Famous German ingredients first appeared in Russia in 1997. In 2006, we launched our own production facility in Belgorod, where for over 15 years we have been producing your favorite baking ingredients — the well-known baking powder, vanilla sugar, yeast, gelatin, glazes, and more.

 

Each of our ingredients is now produced at the same modern, high-tech facility that meets international ISO standards.
